Britney Buyer's Remorse: Is It a Fake?

The Britney Spears tank top and jeans that sold for $700 on eBay can still be yours, since the winning bidder backed out of the deal -- claiming the item wasn't authentic. As if!
Britney Spears
The owner of the store selling the items tells TMZ he thinks the buyer just got cold feet, and that the item is 100% authentic. He tells us the clothes will probably be re-listed again sometime in the next few weeks.

In the meantime, you can still get in on the bidding for the black pinstriped Britney jacket, which is over $1,400 now! When will the madness end?

19.

$700 for it & Britney will probably sleep with the new owner[s] esp. if she gets a free Starbucks' latte.

20. All I wonder is why she shops at Wet Seal. That's a very common store for teens and young women who can't afford to buy designer clothing. The stripe jacket that's on eBay now is also from Wet Seal. These clothes probably went for $20 at the very most. At least they could auction off something of Britney's that is by Chanel or Versace or something that's worth the money!

21. Did ya ever think about taken specimen's from them and make some DOLLY BRIT'S at the lab for future trailer park society with way to much loot to spend on Zesty Bowls. The possibities are endless peep's. Brit's $.99 store knockoff's are a gold mine. There's plenty of cash cow opportunities to be had. Museum's such as the Smithsonian would pay top dollar to achieve the noteriaty of having these unwashed treasure's to show the general public for year's to come. Just look what the Fonz did for them. Classic example of what the masses enjoy, useless garb. Ding Dang Ya'll I need me a Fanta to soil some more.

24. Who buys this stuff? I understand that there are some legitimate busineses on e-bay, but come on. There is almost no way to verify authenticity.

I used to work for a national retailer and resale on e-bay was a HUGE internal theft issue: I might buy something here and there, but definitely not any sort of collectible or anything above a $100 value.

25. Terrorists prolly bidding on her putrid stuff. The smells alone are WMD

26. Speaking of putrid, stinky clothing, it reminds me of this amusing anecdote: Brit took home a drunk from a bar one night to have sex with him. As soon as he "entered" her, he felt a rough scraping sensation on his member that felt like sandpaper. He immediately withdrew and asked her to go get some lubricant. Britney went to the bathroom and emerged a few minutes later, got back in bed, and her love of the night re-mounted her. This time it felt much smoother--so much so that he had to ask her what kind of lubricant she was using. Brit replied, "I didn't use no lubricant, y'all, I just popped all the scabs!"

27. People only bid on these things because they know there will be a lot of viewers on the auction and they hope those viewers click over to THEIR ebay account and make them more popular.

Then if they accidentally win, they cry and complain about anything to get out of paying.

28. It's because people think she'll be dead soon and then her stuff will be more valuable.

29. Selling Britney's clothes on e-bay has got to be another publicity stunt. My curiosity got the best of me and I had to check it out for myself.Item# 200186490313, current bid $1,725.00 and I quote from item description "The jacket still has Britney's pleasant smell in it and smells very nice!".Gimme a break. People in this country are going hungry and some idiot is willing to pay for this. He/she would be better off helping to stock a food bank.I know this isn't going to happen but this feeding frenzy with Britney is beyond ridiculous.Someone is laughing all the way to the bank.We all know that Britney is stupid.
